Bruno and Eleonora Botticelli are second-generation art dealers. Botticelli Antichità has been active since 1959 when their father Franco opened a small gallery in Via Maggio. After his passing they continued with the family tradition, expanding Botticelli Antichità both within and outside of the art world. Nowadays the gallery takes part in international art fairs such as TEFAF New York and Maastricht, Frieze Masters and BIAF (Biennale dell’ Antiquariato Firenze).
In 2018 the siblings opened a Boutique Hotel in their parents' former apartment in the centre of Florence. The hotel is an expansion of the gallery, fully decorated with design furniture and artworks selected by them.
A passion for art history is at the core of their practice. As Bruno states: ‘ To be a dealer in old masters is a special privilege. I buy, sell and research wonderful works of art, but above all I love them.’
